Världen har blivit komplex och osäker, och vi behöver bildning mer än någonsin tidigare! Vår frihet och demokrati beror på det. Utbildning och bildning är det enda demokratiska verktyg vi har för att bekämpa auktoritära krafter. Men är våra skolor, utbildningssystem och folkbildningen klara och inriktade på denna utmaning?
Hvordan kan vi bidrage til demokrati og frihed som undervisere, pædagoger, policy makers, forskere og andre, der arbejder med bildning / bildung / dannelse / danning / sivistys / myndun?
Konferencen rundes af med en diskussion om, hvordan vi kan skabe et godt Nordiskt Sivistys Netverkið.
The world has become increasingly complex and uncertain, and we need bildung more than ever! Our freedom and democracy depend on it. Education and bildung are the only truly democratic tools we have to fight non-democratic forces. But are our schools, education systems and ‘folkbildningen’ ready and up to this challenge?
How can we fulfill our democratic mission as educators, pedagogues, policy makers, researchers and others who work with education / bildung / dannelse / danning / sivistys / myndun?
We will conclude the conference with a discusstion about how we can create a good Nordic Bildung Network.
The conference will be in Scandinavian and English.

As educators, we need to step up to the challenges of our time and re-imagine our Nordic secret.

Skolan grundades i 1947. Bakgrunden var en tid med krig, totalitära regimer och stängda gränser i Norden och Europa. Nu ville man skapa en samnordisk folkhögskola öppen för alla unga människor i Norden.
